SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS ,SESSION 2022-23
- Miss Arna Vijay of class VII secured Silver and Bronze Medal in the KHELO INDIA YOUTH GAMES 2021-22 held at Panchkula in Haryana from 4th June to 13th June 2022 – UNDER -18 age category in different events of KALARIPAYATTU,( A traditional martial Arts combative Sports of Kerala).
- 22 Students of KV GC CRPF have participated in various events of 51ST Silchar Region Regional Sports Meet-2022.( 8 Students in Yoga, 10 Students in Athletics and 4 Students in Badminton)
- KV GC CRPF Athletics team secured 4 Gold ,9 Silvers, and 2 Bronze Medals in 51st Athletics Regional Sports meet-2022 Held at KV NEHU,Shillong.
- 2 Students in Yoga and 6 Students in Athletics had been Selected for 51st KVS National Sports Meet-2022.
- 2 Yoga Students qualified to Final Round in National Yoga Competition and Master Nagraj of class XI also success to achieve 4th and 5th Position in 51ST KVS National Athletics Meet-2022 Held at ThyagarajStadium, New Delhi in EVENTS DISCUS THROW AND SHOT PUT in his first Participation.
- Master Trishant Das of class V has also represented Tripura State In Mini National Badminton Championship-2022 (Under-11) Held in Noida, U.P from 14th to 17th Nov-2022.
Aims and Efforts
Special coaching is being given to potential Medalist students in athletics (1 hour before school hour) and others selected students taking coaching from outside badminton academy and Yoga students preparing under our school Yoga coach.
Aim: At least a Gold medal in KVS National in this session.
Steps Taken this session for Development of Sports Cultures and Performance.
Steps Taken: –
- Selected all potential Sports talented students and promoted them to participate in and out of KVS sports competition.
- Special attention, guidance and training of all talented sports students at school with whatever available resources.
- Extra coaching and training of KVS National selected students at school before school hours.
Planning of Further steps to be taken: –
- Need to develop minimum infrastructure of sports in school in whatever available resources.
- More specific training and guidance of talented sports students.
